The Canstruction Exhibition is returning to TD Centre on May 15, 2018.
Canstruction Toronto is a design and build competition that challenges teams to design and build structures made entirely from canned foods within a 10’x10’x8′ space. It engages and inspires professionals and students in the design, architecture and engineering industries to work together to gather food donations and raise public awareness about the growing hunger gap.
Awards are handed out for: Structural Ingenuity, Best Use of Labels, Best Meal, People’s Choice, Most Cans, and Best Original Design.
After the exhibition, the structures are deconstructed and all the cans are donated to Daily Bread Food Bank, the largest provider of food relief in the GTA.
